 Jobs That Pass Through Multiple Work Centres

So far we have considered jobs assigned to Work Centre 1 OR Work Centre 2, and now we shall look at jobs that pass through Work Centre 1 AND THEN Work Centre 2. To avoid 

confusion lets have Work Centre 6 doing the 1st operation on the job, and Work Centre 7 the 2nd operation.

For the sake of simplicity our example will not refer to a calendar (the work centres operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week) and we will not allow for set-up times.

Note the use of a 24 hour time format to fit into narrower columns.

Jobs that go through several work centers

So far, we've looked at jobs assigned to Work Centre 1 OR Work Centre 2, and now we'll take a look at jobs that go through Work Centre 1 AND THEN Work Centre 2. To avoid confusion, let Work Centre 6 perform the first operation on the job and Work Centre 7 perform the second.

For the sake of simplicity, we will not use a calendar (the work centers are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week) and will not account for set-up times.

To fit into narrower columns, a 24-hour time format is used.
